Yesterday I came to this salon because I wanted to get a Thai massage. I have tried many other places before but had never been here. I liked how the salon looked and the high ratings, so I decided to give it a try. When I approached the reception desk and asked for a Thai massage, the woman showing me the massage menu smiled and started laughing. She asked again if I was sure I wanted a Thai massage and then called another woman, who seemed more experienced. For context, I do have extra weight, but it does not limit my life in any way. I am active, attend different classes, and live a full, normal life. I buy clothes in regular stores, my size would be considered XL or XXL, nothing extreme. The second woman asked again what massage I wanted. I said Thai massage. She smiled again, questioned my choice, and told me that Thai massage involves stretching and therefore was "not suitable" for me. The clear implication was that because of my weight, I would not be able to do it. This was very surprising and upsetting, as I have done Thai massage many times before in other salons, and no one has ever told me this. I have always had a great experience. I asked what other massage they could offer. They suggested an oil massage, which I clearly said I do not like. After that, they looked confused at their own list of services, while I stood there feeling deeply uncomfortable and humiliated. I decided to leave. I understand that their intentions may not have been bad, but laughing at a client and making assumptions about someone’s physical appearance based on weight is completely unacceptable in a service environment. My experience was negative. I cannot comment on the quality of the massage itself, because they clearly did not want to provide one.

If you enjoy very gentle strokes, this might be the place for you. I had booked a shoulder and back massage, but it ended up feeling more like light tickling. I also got an unexpected arm massage… A good massage with a complimentary head massage would’ve been a lovely bonus, but unfortunately this experience didn’t quite meet my needs. I prefer firmer pressure and less oil, and the pressure points felt a bit off for me. They also didn’t wipe off the excess oil afterward, which left me feeling a little uncomfortable. Because of this, I personally wouldn’t return or recommend the shoulder and back massage here. I’ve heard the Thai massage might be a better option, but I’m not sure.

Für uns die absolut beste Massage, die wir je bekommen haben. Wir haben für eine Ganzkörpermassage 500 thb gezahlt. Es war jeden Cent wert. Es wurde vor allen Dingen sehr auf Hygiene geachtet. Die Masseurinnen waren sehr freundlich und haben sich nach der Körpermassage die Hände gewaschen, bevor es dann eine Gesichtsmassage gab. Absolute Empfehlung!
