I had a wonderful experience at the clinic. The entire process was extremely organised—from requesting a quote to being guided in choosing the right surgeon. Everything was clear, smooth, and handled with great professionalism. I chose Dr. Suprakit as my surgeon, and he provided a high level of knowledge and guidance throughout the entire journey. He explained what was best for me, helped me understand my options, and made me feel confident and informed every step of the way. Everyone at the clinic was incredibly accommodating, especially Brey. During my visit, I noticed how she made the effort to personally speak with each patient, reassuring them about their healing process. She even came to my room after my procedure to check on me, which made me feel genuinely cared for. Having someone you can easily communicate with throughout the surgery journey is truly comforting, and Brey provided exactly that. Her professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness made a huge difference. Highly recommended.

I had such a wonderful experience with Destinations Beauty. Doctor Kamsemsak did an excellent job, and I’m very happy with my recovery and results. The nurses and the entire team were amazing so caring and supportive throughout the process. I also want to thank Weerin for always responding quickly and kindly to all my emails and questions, which made me feel reassured every step of the way. Destination Happy I had breast augmentation revision surgery, replacing 27yr old implants. The experience was so much more manageable than my first experience here in Sydney. 

At Destination Beauty I was fully supported and enjoyed every moment of my stay in Bangkok. The hotel was luxurious with wonderful friendly staff.

The hospital stay was terrific. Nurses were lovely and use of pain meds and anti nausea drugs very good compared to my first time with no pain management and no assistance with the nausea. I was very happy with Dr K. My breasts are much fuller and nicer now, so as am very happy with the results.

I felt fully supported my entire trip and the nurses and staff at Destination Beauty were always happy to answer questions or help in any way.

I meet many lovely ladies during my time in Bangkok and everyone was extremely happy with their results and their experience.

I would definitely go back should I ever need anything else done and would definitely recommend Destination Beauty for all your cosmetic surgery needs. They were truly fantastic.

Updated Google Review Following Destination Beauty’s public response to my original review, I have updated this review to clarify my full experience and to add important context, including after reviewing my email correspondence. I waited several months before posting so I could properly heal and reflect. This review reflects my entire end-to-end experience with Destination Beauty, from consultation and decision-making through surgery, recovery, and aftercare. While the logistics and scheduling were well organised, my overall experience was disappointing. The process often felt rushed and transactional, with limited opportunity for meaningful, unhurried consultation. My concern has never been about a lack of contact, but about the quality, timing, and depth of consultation, particularly with surgeons, and how supported I felt as a person rather than as a case. For my tummy tuck revision, I had only one consultation with the surgeon. While a nurse assisted with communication, the surgeon’s limited English meant there was no real opportunity for detailed or ongoing discussion about expectations or contouring. While I acknowledge that the surgery was conducted in Thailand, Destination Beauty markets itself primarily to a Western audience. In that context, it is reasonable to expect that adequate systems and support would be in place to ensure clear, effective communication and informed consultation. The outcome, including residual fat pockets and the need for further revision, reflects this lack of depth. For my mid-face lift and chin, I met the surgeon for the first time five minutes before being taken into surgery, while already in my gown. At that point, I was told an additional procedure needed to be added to achieve the results I was seeking. This had not been raised earlier and left no genuine opportunity for reflection, a second opinion, or fully informed decision-making. Concerns were raised while I was still in Thailand, calmly and in good faith. Because of that, I expected a more human, proactive approach to aftercare once I returned home, simple check-ins to see how I was progressing, particularly knowing I was leaving unhappy and still healing. Instead, the responsibility sat entirely with me to initiate contact over the following six months. After reviewing my email correspondence, I cannot find any instance where I was proactively offered a structured surgical review or follow-up discussion that I declined. While my questions and helpdesk queries were responded to when I reached out, this was largely reactive and procedural. There was no sense of ongoing care, continuity, or relational follow-up. For me, that falls short of what good patient care and customer experience should look like, particularly after concerns had already been raised. I later required additional liposuction, including micro-suction, because key areas were not adequately addressed initially or during revision. I was also left with chest deformities following gynaecomastia surgery where tissue was removed but not adequately sculpted. My rating reflects the totality of this experience, consultation, timing of critical information, outcomes, and aftercare. I share this so future patients understand where they may need to strongly advocate for themselves, and in the hope that a more human, patient-centred approach can be taken in the future. Unfortunately, I am unhappy with my results and would not return to or recommend Destination Beauty.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Destination Beauty. The representatives are really lovely to talk to, any questions I had were taken seriously, I was given options for which surgeon I preferred and given options to do calls with them. On arrival to Bangkok, I found it easy to locate the transport - the hotel is immaculate with incredibly friendly staff and then pre testing was a breeze as well as early admission. Thai hospitals should be teaching the rest of the world how to perform top standard treatment. I felt absolutely cared for and heard from everyone despite travelling alone, used google translate when there were the odd language barrier and made some incredible friends along the way. Destination Beauty, Dr Weerachai and all of the staff on Ward 11 have made my dreams come true and healing at the stunning Somerset has been remarkable. The gardens are lush, koi ponds, a pool to relax by, massages, beauty, the food is to die for - really immerse yourself in the culture and you’ll see what a gem Bangkok and this experience is. Best advice: learn a little bit of Thai for greetings, thanking and showing respect. It goes a long way. Huge thanks to Destination Beauty

I write this with happy tears in my eyes. The experience I have had with Destination beauty is top tier. The love care and support for the nurses and surgeon has been amazing. The hotel, the hospital, the country, I have fallen in love. And as for my results, I can’t stop looking in the mirror. I used to avoid mirrors at all costs. I had an extended tummy tuck with muscle repair, liposuction to abdomen and love handles and a breast lift with implant. I can’t wait until I’m fully healed to show off my new body. If you’re sitting on the fence about surgery, this is your sign to take the leap!

I had a gastric sleeve surgery done by Dr Narong recently and I am very satisfied with the entire process and care by Dr Narong and his exceptional team. The hospital and hotel was 5 stars and their care to every detail also. I highly recommend Dr Narong if you are thinking of doing a surgery overseas for half the cost of New Zealand or Australia. Samitivej hospital is what hospitals in New Zealand should look like and sadly they don't. I felt absolutely safe in their care. The hospital is massive has plenty of different departments including emergency department. Destination Beauty is well organized and they put patients well-being at their heart. Highly recommend to all thinking of doing this life changing surgery. I look forward to healthier me, I have already lost 8kgs in two weeks and look forward to healthier me!
